"Girls look sweeter on bicycles made for one"
Pandora Ladies Racing Club- 1954, Great Britain
I love me some Peugeot (Taken with instagram)
and that’s when i realized that i shouldn’t flip off cars
Tuesday afternoon I’m going to class on my bike.
Lexus. Passes. Fast. I get upset.
Approaching the stop sign Mr.Lexus is stopped in line and I pass the line of cars (which really isn’t wise- I wasn’t thinking).
I flip him off, realizing that the driver is a stout black man (which also really isn’t wise- I’m usually more ethical).
Mr. Lexus then proceeds to follow me to my destination.
I’m walking across the grass to the bike rack.
Mr. Lexus yells at me from the street to “get off the F@#$% street” … yada yada.
I yell back.
He yells.
I yell.
He drives off.
And I’m left with the feeling a chihuahua must feel after he barks at a rottweiler:
“what in the crap did i just do?”
I feel like this would only confuse children.
Jim Beam and the Shiny Red Bicycle
Several years ago on Christmas Eve, Papa got his next door neighbor friend to help assemble the bicycle they had bought for Davy (my dad).
Well, Papa needed Jim Beam to help with the assembly too and as the night went on, the men got progressively drunker.
A task that shouldn’t have taken that long ended up keeping them into the morning hours.
My dad doesn’t recall the bike ever falling apart.
I guess it was put together well considering the circumstances.
